Brand New Genuine Denso 18-Code Injectors for 1KD-FTV Euro 4

A tidy set of four brand-new Genuine Denso 18-code common rail injectors — direct-fit replacement for mid-2009–2015 Toyota Hilux N70 and Prado 1KD-FTV Euro 4 engines. The 18-code is the latest-gen G3 Denso for the 1KD platform: sharper atomisation, faster reaction times and DLC-coated internals built to go the distance. OEM reliability, plug straight in, no core return required. No teasing, no modifications — just the real thing.

🚙 Vehicle Compatibility

These 18-code Denso injectors suit the following 1KD-FTV Euro 4 vehicles:

  • Toyota Hilux N70 KUN26 — 1KD-FTV 3.0L (≈ 03/2009–2015, Euro 4)
  • Toyota Prado 120 / 150 KDJ — 1KD-FTV 3.0L (2009–2015, Euro 4)

✅ Direct-fit OEM replacement — Genuine Denso 18-code (part numbers 23670-39365 / 23670-30400 / Denso 295050-0460). No modifications required.

Note: 18-code injectors are NOT interchangeable with 11-code or 13-code models. The ECU only accepts calibration codes that match its programming. Not sure which code you run? Drop your VIN or Rego + State in the cart notes and we'll confirm before it goes anywhere near your engine.

🔥 Want More Flow?

These are standard OEM-spec 18-code injectors for stock vehicles — happy as they are, no tune needed. If you're running a tune, a bigger turbo or performance mods and want them to work a little harder, the upgraded 18-code options are available as separate listings:

  • +30% Flow — tuned standard / mild builds
  • +50% Flow — medium-performance setups
  • +100% Flow — big turbo, upgraded pump, full-send builds

All upgraded options are Genuine Denso 18-code bodies with uprated nozzles. A tune is required for any upgraded flow profile.

🧰 What You'll Want on Hand

Don't go in half-prepared. Sort the supporting bits before install day:

  • Genuine Toyota Injector Fitting Kit — copper seat washers, seals and everything for a clean 1KD install.
  • New Injector Lines — one-use crush-fit. Reusing old lines is the #1 cause of a messy post-install leak.

💡 Pro tip: Always replace copper seat washers and seals when fitting new injectors. Reusing old hardware is the leading cause of leaks on 1KD engines. Clean hands, fresh seals, do it once.

📌 Fitment Note

Not sure if 18-code is correct for your Hilux or Prado? Drop your VIN (or State + Rego) in the cart notes and we'll verify factory compatibility before we ship. Getting the right code is critical — the ECU rejects codes that don't match.

⚠ VIN & Compatibility Disclaimer

When you provide your rego or VIN we'll confirm the injector type your vehicle left the factory with. This may be incorrect if the injectors, harness or ECU have previously been changed (e.g. a second-hand engine swap or prior incorrect fitment).

It's the customer's responsibility to verify injectors before installation. We recommend coding injectors to the ECU while still sealed in their clear bags so the calibration codes read accurately. The most reliable method is a scan tool to read the codes currently stored in the ECU.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does "18 code" mean?

A: It's the first two digits of the injector's compensation number, printed on the plug. The 1KD-FTV ran three generations — 11-code (2005–2006), 13-code (late 2006–mid 2009) and 18-code (mid 2009–2015). Each is paired to a specific ECU calibration and they're generally not interchangeable.

Q: How do I check if my Hilux has 18-code injectors?

A: Unplug the connector on top of any injector and read the first two digits printed on the body. If it starts with "18", you're 18-code. Best method is a scan tool to read the codes stored in the ECU — especially if the injectors have been replaced before.

Q: Can I fit 18-code to an earlier 11-code or 13-code Hilux?

A: No. The ECU calibration, harness and injector coding differ between generations. 18-code won't code into an 11 or 13-code ECU. If your vehicle came with 11 or 13-code, you generally need the matching set.

Q: What makes 18-code better than the earlier 1KD injectors?

A: It's a Denso G3 (third-gen) design — faster reaction times, improved atomisation and DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating on internal components. Post-2012 18-code have full DLC on both the armature and control piston, making them the toughest, longest-lasting injectors Toyota fitted to the 1KD.

Q: Do these need ECU coding?

A: Yes. Each of the four has a unique calibration code that must be programmed into the ECU with a scan tool. Without correct coding it'll run rough, idle poorly and the fuel trims will be off. Code them before fitting — ideally while still sealed in their clear bags.

Q: Will new 18-code fix rough idle or cold-start knock?

A: In most cases, yes. Worn injectors are the leading cause of cold-start rattle, rough idle and poor fuel trims on 1KD engines. Fresh Genuine Denso 18-code restore correct spray patterns, smooth the idle and bring correction values back within spec.

Q: How long do they last?

A: On clean diesel with regular fuel filter changes, 18-code (especially post-2012 full-DLC) commonly go 200,000–250,000+ km. The biggest killer is fuel contamination — water or particulate in the system. Keep your fuel clean and they'll go the distance.

Q: Do I need a tune?

A: No — not for OEM-spec 18-code on a stock vehicle. Direct plug-and-play. A tune is only needed for upgraded flow profiles (+30 / +50 / +100).

Q: Are these new or refurbished?

A: Brand new, Genuine Denso — not reconditioned, not remanufactured, not exchange. No core deposit, no core return. Supplied sealed in genuine Denso packaging. Never been touched.

Q: What are the OEM part numbers?

A: Common Toyota numbers are 23670-39365 and 23670-30400. The Denso number is 295050-0460. Cross-reference includes Denso IAM 260100-6000.

Q: Can I use these in a 2KD or 1GD?

A: No — these are for 1KD-FTV only. The 2KD (2.5L) and 1GD (2.8L) use different injector designs and part numbers. Confirm your engine code is 1KD-FTV before ordering.
