Brand-new Genuine Denso 13-code — the later, improved revision. Factory-fresh, never been touched, and ready to slide straight in. No tune, no core, no fuss.
Brand New Genuine Denso 13-Code Injectors for 1KD-FTV Euro 4
A tidy set of four brand-new Genuine Denso 13-code common rail injectors — direct-fit replacement for late 2006 to mid-2009 Toyota Hilux N70 KUN26 1KD-FTV Euro 4 engines. The later-revision 13-code (23670-30280 / 23670-39316) runs an improved upper spring and DLC-coated armature to knock cold-start rattle on the head — a serious step up over the early 13-code units. OEM reliability, plug straight in, no core return required. No teasing, no modifications — just the real thing.
🚙 Vehicle Compatibility
These 13-code Denso injectors suit the following 1KD-FTV Euro 4 vehicles:
- Toyota Hilux N70 KUN26 — 1KD-FTV 3.0L (late 2006 – approx. mid-2009, Euro 4, 13-code)
✅ Direct-fit OEM replacement — Genuine Denso 13-code (part numbers 23670-30280 / 23670-39316 / Denso 095000-7780). No modifications required.
Note: 13-code injectors are NOT interchangeable with 11-code or 18-code models. The ECU only accepts calibration codes that match its programming. 11-code suits 2005–2006 Euro 3; 18-code suits mid-2009–2015. Not sure which you run? Drop your VIN or Rego + State in the cart notes and we'll confirm before it goes anywhere near your engine.
🔥 Want More Flow?
These are standard OEM-spec 13-code injectors for stock vehicles — happy as they are, no tune needed. Running a tune or performance mods and want them to work harder? The upgraded 13-code options are available as separate listings:
- +30% Flow — tuned standard / mild builds
- +50% Flow — medium to high-performance setups
All upgraded options are Genuine Denso 13-code bodies with uprated nozzles. A tune is required for any upgraded flow profile.
🧰 What You'll Want on Hand
Injectors are only part of the job. Don't go in half-prepared — sort the rest before install day:
- Genuine Injector & Rocker Cover Fitting Kit — 30-piece genuine kit with all seals, washers and hardware. Never reuse old copper seat washers; they won't seal the second time round.
- Euro 4 Injector Lines (rail to injector) — one-use crush-fit. Reusing old lines is the #1 cause of a messy post-install leak on 1KD engines. Replace them every time.
- Aluminium Rocker Cover — factory plastic covers warp and crack over time. Since you're pulling it off anyway, upgrade to alloy once and never deal with rocker cover leaks again.
💡 Pro tip: Always replace copper seat washers and injector lines when fitting new injectors. Reusing old hardware is the leading cause of leaks on 1KD engines. Clean hands, fresh seals, do it once.

📌 Fitment Note
Not sure if 13-code is correct for your Hilux? Drop your VIN (or State + Rego) in the cart notes and we'll verify compatibility before we ship. Getting the right code is critical — the ECU rejects codes that don't match.
⚠ VIN & Compatibility Disclaimer
When you provide your rego or VIN we'll confirm the injector type your vehicle left the factory with. This may be incorrect if the injectors, harness or ECU have previously been changed (e.g. a second-hand engine swap or prior incorrect fitment).
It's the customer's responsibility to verify injectors before installation. We recommend coding injectors to the ECU while still sealed in their clear bags so the calibration codes read accurately. The most reliable method is a scan tool to read the codes currently stored in the ECU.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does "13 code" mean?
A: It's the first two digits of the injector's calibration number, printed on the body. The 1KD-FTV ran three generations — 11-code (2005–2006 Euro 3), 13-code (late 2006–mid 2009 Euro 4) and 18-code (mid 2009–2015 Euro 4). Each is paired to a specific ECU calibration and they're not interchangeable.
Q: How do I check if my Hilux has 13-code injectors?
A: Unplug the connector on top of any injector and read the first two digits printed on the body. If it starts with "13", you're 13-code. Best method is a scan tool to read the codes stored in the ECU — especially if the injectors have been replaced before.
Q: Can I fit 13-code to an 11-code or 18-code Hilux?
A: No. The ECU calibration and injector coding differ between generations. The ECU only accepts codes that match its programming — 11-code and 18-code ECUs both reject 13-codes. You must use the correct code for your vehicle.
Q: Were there different versions of the 13-code injector?
A: Yes. Early 13-code (23670-30140 / Denso 095000-7030) were prone to cold-start knock and premature wear — the most problematic 1KD injectors made. The later revision (23670-30280 / 23670-39316 / Denso 095000-7780) got an improved upper spring and DLC-coated armature, cutting cold knock and improving durability. We supply the later improved version.
Q: Do these need ECU coding?
A: Yes. Each of the four has a unique calibration code that must be programmed into the ECU with a scan tool. Without correct coding it'll run rough, idle poorly and the fuel trims will be off. Code them before fitting — ideally while still sealed in their clear bags.
Q: Will new 13-code fix rough idle or cold-start knock?
A: In most cases, yes. Worn or early-revision 13-code injectors are a leading cause of cold-start rattle, rough idle and poor fuel trims on 1KD engines. The later-revision units we supply have the improved spring and DLC coating that specifically targets the cold-knock issue.
Q: How long do they last?
A: Early-revision units wore faster, but the later revision we supply is much more robust. On clean diesel with regular fuel filter changes, expect 150,000–200,000+ km. The biggest threat is fuel contamination — water or particulate in the system.
Q: Should I replace the injector lines at the same time?
A: Strongly recommended. Feed lines are a one-use crush-fit — reusing old ones risks incorrect sealing pressure, leaks and fuel contamination.
Q: Do I need a tune?
A: No — not for OEM-spec 13-code on a stock vehicle. Direct plug-and-play. A tune is only needed for upgraded flow profiles (+30 / +50).
Q: New or refurbished?
A: Brand new, Genuine Denso — not reconditioned, not remanufactured, not exchange. No core deposit, no core return. Supplied sealed in genuine Denso packaging. Never been touched.
Q: What are the OEM part numbers?
A: Toyota numbers for the later revision are 23670-30280 and 23670-39316. The Denso number is 095000-7780. The early revision (23670-30140 / 095000-7030) is no longer recommended — we only supply the improved later version.
Q: Can I upgrade from early 13-code to later 13-code?
A: Yes — if your vehicle has early 13-code (095000-7030) suffering cold knock, swapping to the later revision (095000-7780) is a direct fit and a worthwhile upgrade. Same ECU coding format, much better cold-start behaviour.
